Scratches and Silliness (On My Behalf)

So... Abby got a small scratch on her forehead a couple days after the 4th/birthday bash, and it put me in mind of another little person with a scratch on his head...
Harry Potter! See the resemblance?
Yep. So Abby was my personal Harriet Potter for a couple of days, until the scratch healed and she went back to just being Abby.

Ashlee didn't have a clue what I was talking about when I told her Abby had a Harry Potter scratch, by the way. She just thought me an absurd and obsessed Harry Potter fan. Which, haha, I kind of am. But... c'mon! The last movie is coming out tonight! Are you surprised I have it on my mind?

Birthday/4th of July, pt 4

After Maranda, Geoff and their kids had to go home, the girls were changed into their new, adorable pajamas.Mimi got the pjs for them for their birthday. Pretty durn cute, right?

Soon after this picture was taken, the girls were put to bed, and so ended the birthday party. The 4th of July, of course, didn't end until midnight, but there were no fireworks, unfortunately, since Texas is in drought.

So now the birthday stuff is all done! Finally! Yay! (Can you tell I'm glad to have all that posting done?)

Birthday/4th of July party, pt 3

The crafty balloon wreath Ashlee made for the party. Just thought I'd show you 'cause it was pretty cool.

After the girls got a nice, quick bath, they were changed into these adorable brown and white dresses.
The girls getting their official snack while Mimi and the cousins play Yahtzee and Aunt Maranda looks on. You don't see Uncle Geoff or Daddy (Jared) because, at the time this pic was taken, they were outside hovering over the grill, as men will do on the 4th of July, and cooking up some yummy burgers and hot dogs for all the non-babies.

Abigail playing with the new doll from Grandma and Grandpa and the pop-up thingey from Aunt Maranda.

Charlie trying to grab my camera and, instead, looking like she's saying, "S'up, dude?"
A good party always has some playtime!

I don't think I got any pictures of Mia all by herself during playtime. *sigh*

Birthday/4th of July party, pt 2

The girls waiting ever-so-patiently for the candles to be removed so they can try out these strange new treats.
Charlie was hesitant.
Abby was unsure.
Mia went straight to business.
After several minutes...
They were all very much in need of a bath. That's why we had them in their diapers, to reduce the number of things that got dirty. Bodies are easier to get chocolate off of than clothing.

Birthday/4th of July party, pt 1

So I'm finally getting around to posting the pics from the girls' birthday party/our July 4th party because figuring out how to get pictures in the correct order is a pain. So, yeah, I'm doing this in more than one post.
Ashlee had a fun green, pink, and white color scheme for the party.
Some of the party 'guests.' Aunt Maranda, Uncle Geoffrey and the above-pictured cousins drove three hours to celebrate with us. Mimi (Ashlee's mom) was here for a visit as well.
Abby 'blowing out her candle.' Or, rather, looking confused while Mommy blows her candle out for her.
Charlotte going after her already-blow-out cupcake.
Mia getting ready to 'blow her candle out.'

Adorability!

I think the sound is off from the picture, but it's cute anyway.

Charlotte's Feet

I just had to give you a few pictures of Charlie's adorable, chubby feet. It's really amusing to me that she is the smallest of the three, and yet she has a roundest, plumpest feet not only of her sisters, but of all babies I've ever seen.
Oh, and the fact that she crosses her feet whenever she sits down is pretty adorable too.
