Pictures and Data

Firstly, a couple of pictures to sate your thirsts for cuteness.

Charlotte, standing against the side table. (And that is cousin Natalie in the background. She and Maranda came to visit again.)
Miss Mia. Seriously, she does smile, I just can't catch it on camera. >.>
Abigail. You can tell, she was just smiling two seconds before. My camera just isn't fast enough!

Playtime with Mommy.
Three ducks in a row! (They did it all by themselves, we didn't put them in a line. It was so cool, I had to take a picture.)
Back to back. (Also on their own.)
Three cutie-patootie's eating cottage cheese.
Bubble time! It's Daddy's way of retaining attention in between books during story time.

Now... I had a request on facebook for 'another blog posting with much data!!! :-)' So, yeah. Here's the 'much data,' or, to put it my way, the scoop.

For the last two days, the girls have been, for one reason or another (*cough* a certain persistent cry-er *cough*), waking up an hour earlier than scheduled from their second nap of the day. I could point fingers at which of the little rascals has been determined to make sure the whole world knows when she's awake, but I will refrain from naming names. But it wouldn't be naming names to say her initials start with a C, now would it? ;)

Yesterday was... bad, on several levels. The girls were in a grumpy, fussy, cranky, upset, angry, stubborn, fling-my-food-in-every-direction-rather-than-eat-it mood all evening, and that, of course, didn't do much towards helping my or Ashlee's moods, or sanity, to any healthier a level. But somehow we made it through without any casualties besides the spilled food.

Today, it happened again. Oh, the frustration.

Thankfully, today, Ashlee had the brilliant idea of allowing the girls to have a bath together. See, baths with all three together are chaotic and insane, and distinctly un-pleasurable when they are full blown soap and shampoo and scrubbing baths. But this was just a toys and giggles bath and was actually pretty fun to supervise. Even when extremely tired, it is amazing how these girls can still find so much delight in new things, and how cute they are! I mean, I've been staring at them the majority of the time I've been here, just thinking 'They are sooooo gosh-darn CUTE!'

They were all yawning and rubbing their eyes long before their usual bedtime, so we took mercy on them and decided to put them down half an hour earlier. Tomorrow we'll very likely pay for it when they decide to wake up half an hour earlier.

That is the scoop (or the Data).

That is all. Goodbye.

(Whoever can tell me what movie that last line is from gets ten points. =D )

  1. Umm ... err ... (Scrunches up forehead desperately.) Nope. No ten points for me. Only I almost think I know ... Whose foot is that right beside Mia's head in the second photo? Or do you know? And I think I can understand that overwhelming combination of cute and frustrating. I'll keep praying for you guys! Any news on Charlotte's MRI?

  2. I haven't got a clue whose foot that is, sorry. It could be Charlie's... she has remarkably chubby feet. I'm sorry, I forgot you didn't know about the MRI! It came back normal.

  6. Haha, no, Daddy. Not Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Sorry. Would it help if I added the words "Cat's rule!" to the quote?
